Donna Vaccacio - Art/Runner
Hi. My name is Donna Vaccacio. This will be my third year as a runner, Sub, Jack(Jill) of all trades at Monkton School. I have three adult sons, who each attended our preschool program. I also attend church here. I was an insurance underwriter prior to marriage, and then a stay at home mom until my youngest attended Kindergarten. I have held positions as a substitute teacher at Sparks Elementary School, in customer service at Greetings & Readings and a Teacher's Aide at Greenspring Montessori for seven years. I spend my spare time gardening, reading, and visiting my family. I enjoy crafts such as painting, stained glass and mosaics. My dog and I love to walk the bike trail. If you are on a Monkton road early in the morning you may see me on my morning walk!
Chris Adams - Aide
My name is Christina Adams. I have worked at MCDC since August 2019. I am married with 2 children. I grew up in Sparks, MD and currently reside in Glen Rock, PA. My spare time is spent on the boat crabbing, or fishing. I'm glad to be a part of our school - "It takes a community to teach a child".
Ligda Henry - Aide
My name is Ligda and I have been working with children for eight years! I am married to my husband and have two daughters, 17 and seven years old. I love working with children because little one's are so active, imaginative, and creative. It helps me increase my own imagination! I love to see so many smiles and celebrate little things every day. I love to help them grow and be a postive role model in their lives. My goal this year is to be positive and work to create a happy environment as well as support to the teacher. I look forward to finding opportunities by being helpful and preparing students for the next year!
Emily Garrett - Aide
Hi I’m Emily and I started at MCDC as a substitute in 2021 when I enrolled my son. I really enjoyed being a part of Monkton so I became an Aide in the 3’s room last year. I love being an assistant to our teachers and believe that it’s important for all of us to provide an environment where children feel safe to explore, build friendships and gain the confidence they need to grow. Away from work, I enjoy spending time with family, cooking, gardening, and trying to keep up with our VERY energetic 5 year old son! I strive to be a source of comfort and encouragement for both students and their parents, as well as being a part of the children’s overall learning and growth. I am committed to making a positive impact on our young learners by creating an environment filled with fun and creativity.

Emma Adams - Aide
Taylor Cook - Aide
Hi my name is Taylor and I've been working with children for five years. I enjoy spending time with my mom, dad, older sister Julia and my fur baby Layla! I love being a part of MCDC and every year I strive to help our students become more confident and happy! I love working with children because they are so eager to learn, and are always having fun. I mostly enjoy having a position in an individuals life to make them feel safe, loved and to grow up knowing that they can be anything they are passionate about. I look forward to making more memories here at MCDC!
Lola - Aide
My name is Lola and my family consists of my mom, dad, older sister Ella, and younger sister Rowan. I also have two dogs. I love working with children because they are very entertaining and there is never a dull moment! My goal this year is to graduate from my Aesthetician progams. I look forward to the school year with MCDC kids!
Omanee - Aide
I have been working with children at MCDC since last Spring. My family consists of my mom, dad, two sisters, and our two cats named Avon and Nova. I love working with children because they are brutally honest and have never failed to put me in my place! My goal this year is to continue my education in Psychology and Childhood Development. I look forward to developing my relationships with our MCDC kids!
